And some exercises:
We have studied present perfect, and I just found this page in which you have a very good explanation of the situations in which we use this tense followed by plenty of activities. But for now you just have to do Verb tense exercises 5 and 6.

Simple Past
Hello Students at BASICO 2!!! SIMPLE PAST... And I found this website with readings and exercises to work with the simple past. You just have to click on the text that you find interesting and do the activities. They are all biographies, the perfect text type to practice with the simple past, the perfect tense to talk about finished and completed actions. In Isabel Perez's website you have also one section dedicated to SIMPLE PAST:

Hello Guys
Hello Guys!!!
How are you? I don't know if anyone at Goya or San Blas is reading my blog, however, I will keep it until September, when I start the one corresponding to my new groups...
I want you to have a look at the trailer that you can find in the YOU TUBE VIDEOS section, from the French movie "L'Auberge Spagnole" (Titled Una Casa de Locos in Spanish, showing how exciting life can be for an Erasmus Student in his/her year abroad:-))It is one of my favourites, a must see for all those students who are planning to live or have lived in a foreign country...which I strongly recommend, since it is one of the most enriching experiences one can go through.
Hope you like it:)

Congratulations
Hello Everybody!!! Let me post here a wonderful composition written by one of my students in 2F, Julian. He writes amazingly well, I hope you enjoy his composition as much as I did! It was a rainy evening. I was standing by the window, looking through it, how the drops were hitting against the glasses. I had lived this experience many times. In the street, two boys were jumping over puddles while another one was staring at them. They were completely soaked. Suddenly I felt that all turned around me like in a merry go round.
Just a quick note to tell you that It was great to teach at EOI Goya these months, and that I am glad that so many people passed in June. Those of you who have to try again in September, do not worry, you are capable of passing, I am sure!!!
I want to wish you a wonderful summer, happy holidays, and enjoy these two months a lot before the new course starts!!!WHAT HAPPENED?

When I woke up, I couldn't hear the monotonous sound of the rain, actually I couldn't hear anything. Well, the sadness of the silence. I had a bad feeling. I didn't know where I was. It was a white room without furniture or windows. I didn't understand what was happening.
Few seconds later, when I noticed there wasn't any door either, the panic invaded me. I went towards the walls to see if I would be able to break them to escape. But it was impossible, I couldn't reach them.
"How is it possible? It has to exist some secret door or hole to enter here". I thought. I tried to keep calm, since it could only be a nightmare. I breathed deeply and closed my eyes.
When I woke up again I was lying on the floor, in my old living room. I heard that it wasn't raining. All around me seemed to be right. I stood up slowly and I went to the kitchen to have a glass of water, because I was thirsty. I remembered the children in the street so I came back to the window to see if they were still playing.
Oh my God! I shouted. I was absolutely terrified. From there, I could only see the white room with me inside.
